Rock band fronted by lead vocalist Clarissa Campbell and Mike Berger (guitar, vocals), with Jeff Simpson (bass), Josh Logue (guitars), and Ray Snyder (drums). Campbell, a Knoxville, Tennessee native who studied voice and piano in Baltimore.

2001 (CD) Tables Have Turned

In 2001 Campbell and Berger formed the band Clarissa, a critically acclaimed rock/pop/folk/alternative band that focused more on their original material.
The group performed throughout Baltimore, D.C. and mid-Atlantic region. Venues included Fletcher’s, The Eight by Ten, Cafe Tattoo, The Vault, Brass Monkey Saloon, The Sidebar, Cacao Lane (Ellicott City), DuClaw Brewing Co. (Fells Point), Cheeseburger in Paradise (Pasadena), Doc Watson’s Pub and Club DOS (Philadelphia), Fat Tuesday’s (Fairfax), and many other clubs and festivals from Pennsylvania to Florida.
They recorded at Orion Studios. First CD “Free to Be” with Clarissa Campbell (lead vocals), Mike Berger (guitars), Ray Snyder (drums), Dave DeMarco (bass), and Mark Cerreta (backing vocals).

The 2004 “Live!” CD featured Clarissa and Mike with band that included Mike Saslaw (bass), Bret Wescott (drums), Chris Semich (violin), and Angela Taylor (flute, backing vocals).
