High energy rock and roll band. Members included Alan Lopata (guitar, vocals), Richard Taylor (guitar, vocals), Tom Cohan (guitar), Rusty Dashiells (bass ex-Fallacy), Joder Armacost (drums).

The band performed at the Marble Bar, Jo’s Organic Bar, Amber Room, the Patio in Westminster. Played Painter’s Mill New Years show with Orange Wedge and Razz. Their original sounds melded the sounds of early rock and roll and rockabilly with the new sounds of the punk and new wave bands, while also playing classic rock material like the Who. With an increasing disenchantment with the state of the music scene (disco and power pop) they decided to take their sound to England and give it a try.

Taylor traveled to ahead of the band to do some booking and to make arrangements for the arrival of his bandmates, however after their arrival in England the group split up.

Zehn Archar released four singles. The last two on Taylor’s Omegalpha Label named after the band’s initials (and the Greek letters Z-A).
