In the early ‘60s during the height of the Twist craze Rodgers Lodgers performed at Buddy’s Subway Lounge on Friday and Saturday nights. Led by saxophonist/vocalist Roger Pace (ex-Jaguars, Originals), they were advertised as “the twistiest band in town!” and could also be seen at Bitner’s ‘Temple of Twist’ on Fayette Street.
