Guitarist from Montgomery Village neighborhood of Montgomery County. While attending The University of South Carolina met up with Darius Rucker and eventually they formed Hootie & the Blowfish. While lead guitarist of Hootie, 1986-2008 and 2018+ (releasing at least 6 studio albums, 16 charted hits and 2 Grammy Awards. Bryan also worked as a producer as well as releasing his own solo albums “30 on the Rail” (2000 Atlantic), “End of the Front” (2008), followed by “Songs of The Fortnight” (2016), “Midlife Priceless” (2021).
