Guitarist, recording engineer, and producer. Attended Berklee School of Music. As guitarist known for modern jazz stylings but proficient in wide range of genres. Performed in jazz combo with Glen Cashman.
In 1972 he established Roeder Studios in Monkton, MD. Notable recordings include Fells Point Jazz, Phil Cunneff, and driving electronic dance music records by David Astri (“Dancing Digits”), and Kym (“Give Me the Dance”)… Roeder assembled a group to perform at the 1977 3rd annual End of the World concert and festival in Baltimore. The group included Louis Scherr (keyboards), Eddie DiMarino (bass ex-Joy, Wayne Newton Band), and Steve Ashcraft (drums).
