Baltimore based “girl group” cover band featured female vocal trio of Jean Owens (Platinum Slugs, Matt Clark 5, Con-Airs), Tita Rutledge, and Anne Green (famed Miller Lite girl on TV commercials). The band featured Brian Hillman (guitar –SubMensas, Swingin’ Swamis), Mike Bell (bass – SubMensas, Platinum Slugs, Con-Airs), Pete Van Allen, Jr. (drums – his dad played bass with Roy Buchanan’s band The Snakestretchers), and horn section of Joe Antonelli (trumpet –bassist with Platinum Slugs), Joe Fields (sax), and Matt Solomon (sax – SubMensas).
