Rock and contemporary cover band led by vocalist Lou Bell. Members included Bill Bussels (guitar ex-Specs, Verdicts), Roger Wilhelm (bass ex-Fourth Generation), Chuck Schertle (piano), Bob Creighton (drums ex-Telstars, Casuals, Dynamics), Dave (guitar), Danny (bass), Joe (tenor sax), Bert Zimmerman (vocals), Bill (vocals), Rusty Hinshaw (vocals, keyboards ex-Crossroads)…

The Changing Tymes played the local club circuit. Opened for Sha Na Na at Painter’s Mill, Chuck Berry at Towson University, Drifters at Fort Meade… Became full-time band in 1975.

Creighton, Wilhelm, and Hinshaw went on to play with Best Friends, Manhattan Project… Hinshaw later with Full Circle, Rich & the Roadrunners… In ‘00s Schertle played guitar with South of Oz.
