“Torque existed in the early 90’s, regularly played The Rev, (new) Jule’s Loft, played gigs at Eight by Ten, Max’s On Broadway, E.J. Bugs, and a couple of other places I can no longer recall” according to bass guitarist Scott Bass, “We were from the Catonsville area that was a hotbed for bands, often playing with likeminded groups such as Juice and Lumber. Other bands we played with include Iron Sausage, Glue Factory, Uterus, and Lawn Dart from Western Maryland. We recorded a demo in 1993 at Towson University’s audio lab, it turned out pretty well. Guys from Stranger Than Fiction were fans of ours.”
