Family band variety band managed by Mr. Salvatore ‘Tore’ Vizzini, featuring the Vizzini’s: Salvatore, Philip (drums), and Jay (guitar); the Damico’s: Sal ‘Tor Baby’ and Frank; and Salvy DiPaula. The band played dance band, rock and roll, and Italian folk music. They won a Mt. Hebron battle of the bands vs. the Sound of Dust. Bill Stahly sat in with the band on drums during the summer of 1966.

The Tor-Tones were also noted for performing at the Lancellotta family annual parties on Frederick Road near North Bend. Many of the Italian families of the area attended the functions. The Tor-Tones performed at other functions including weddings, dinner dances, youth hops and shows. They also performed in a Hootenanny show with Patches (see Patches & Liz).

Sal Vizzini went on to play in the Vikings. Jay Vizzini later played in Sunset. Sal Damico was later with the Syndicate of Time. All three continued to perform in the ‘00s with their band Zip Drive. Stahly also became a member of the Vikings before moving on to The Boat.
