Teen band formed at Parkville Sr. High School. They performed mostly covers of horn-based bands such as Chicago, BS&T, Tower of Power, and soul music.

The original lineup consisted of Hal Laurent (guitar, bass, keys, trumpet, vocals), Gary Waugh (bass, guitar, flute, harmonica, vocals), Carl Pomplon (organ, electric piano, percussion, drums), Mark Shillenburg (keyboards), Neil Tucker (drums), Gary Daughaday (trombone, percussion), Jim Lathroum (trumpet, percussion, vocals), Herman Shertle (trumpet, percussion, vocals), Pat Nordbrook (lead vocals, percussion), and Kevin O’Brennan (lead vocals, percussion). A mid-1972 lineup included Waugh, Tucker, Daughaday, Lathroum, and Nordbrook, with Marty Lanzino (lead vocals, percussion), Joe Snyder (guitar, vocals ex-Ton), Joe Seitz (organ, percussion, vocals ex-Lamours, Isaac, Band of Gold), and Franny ‘Thurman’ Rush (sax, flute, percussion).

The group performed at various high school dances including Parkville, proms, CYO’s, teen centers, swim clubs, the 1972 Folk Rock Festivals at Perry Hall and Pikesville High Schools, October 21, 1972 benefit for the American Cancer Society at Morrell Park, Altlands Ranch (York, PA), Emerald Gardens… Their biggest gig was on October 24, 1971 in front of a crowd of 1,000 at the Charles Center for the “Walk for Hunger” benefit.

Waugh and Lanzino split in 1973 and formed Blazek. O’Brennan went on to the Pat O’Brennan Band…
