Modern rock band formed in 1988. Considered as “emo” style, a genre described as emotional hardcore punk music. Members included Daniel Lindenstruth a.k.a. Daniel Higgs (vocals, guitar ex-Reptile House), Asa Osborne (guitar ex-Reptile House), John Chriest (bass ex-The Melvyn, See Saw, Cabal), and Gary Breezee (drums ex-Reptile House) later replaced with Mitchell Feldstein (drums ex-Instant Siberia). Their song “Return Descender” was included on the 1989 “Merkin Seedy Sampler” album (Merkin 305). Lungfish later signed by Dischord Records in D.C.

After the 1993 “Rainbows from Atoms” album, Chriest was replaced with Nathan Bell. Bell was in turn replaced in the ‘00s with Chattanooga, Tennessee area bassist Sean Meadows. Bell later joined LandSpeedRecord.
