Notes from Sam Towers …
It was held in the gym of Pleasant Plains Elementary School and was a very popular teen center run by Jerry Treffinger’s (Dynamics, Elegants, Majic) mother. Everyone referred to her as “Mrs. T.” The Treffingers lived just a block away on Loch Raven Blvd. The Admirals, Lafayettes, Nomads, and all other bands of that time played there repeatedly. Young Mike Hodgeman and I went there most weekends before we started our first band, The RaVons.
