R&B / funk group formed by former members of Madhouse. Vocalists included Ira Glover (see bio), Allen Thomas, and Liewellyn ‘Hondo’ Scruggs. The band featured Allen Thomas (guitar), Thomas ‘Bunky’ Smith (bass), Joel Johnson (keyboards), Kenny Tapp (drums), Coochie Williams (sax), and Ricky Evans (trumpet). Thomas was later replaced with Jack Turner (guitar).

Witchcraft was managed by Ricky Evans. They gigged locally and toured the east coast.
Scruggs later embarked on a Gospel career that includes recording with Roderick Dotson and writing for HeavenBound. Johnson joined P-Funk/Bootsy Collins, Turner went on to record with George Duke… Tapp was later with Tomorrow’s Promise.
