Country singer Ernie West fronted some of Baltimore’s top country bands including the Country Rhythm Lads, and the Sound of the Country. He also billed as a solo artist.
Guitarist Bobby Godsey played in West’s bands before going on to join Dave Nicely’s band, and touring with the Jimmy Case Show. West’s single on Pioneer records was published by Samuel Cirigliano.
