Pianist Burley Joe McCandless along with his Missiles – featuring Ernie West – could be heard at Sid’s Ranch House on East Baltimore Street, Charlotte’s Fiesta, as the house band at Jazz City on Pratt Street in 1967.
West played in the ‘70s with his Sound of the Country, and the Country Rhythm Lads.
