WDJQ – FM 94 was formerly WITH-FM and featured personality Jack Diamond. Jack also moonlighted as a club dee jay spinning disco records at the Red Rooster Inn on Tuesday nights in late 1975-76. In the ‘00s Jack could be heard on the morning show at 100.3FM – D.C.’s oldies station.
Other WDJQ personalities included Ed Graham, and Dr. Baron Wolf – who was also spotted as a disco emcee in 1976 at the Flaming Pit Lounge.
At some point the Top-40 station moved up the dial to 104.3. In the ‘70s it became known as WBSB (B-104) and played adult contemporary.
