Country and western swing bandleader. His Stump Jumpers group was based in south central Pennsylvania and the Westminster area of Carroll County. They toured nationally and released recordings on the Trumpet label in 1953. Steel guitarist Frank ‘Stoney’ Stone went on to join Tex Daniels’ Lazy H Ranch band.
