Teen R&B group from Ashburton area consisted of Johnny Turner (lead vocals), Healey LaCator (guitar), Warren Garrison (sax), and Roy McCoy, Jr. (drums). The group played teen centers and cabarets.

McCoy, son of the great trumpeter, passed away in 1964. Garrison went on to join The Uptowns, Denny & the Hitchhikers / The J.G. Hitchhikers, and played in bands of many of Baltimore’s greatest R&B singers, as well as tours with Luther Ingram’s Unit Truth that included appearances on the soundtrack and movie Wattstax.
