Rock group started as trio of Bobby Borte (guitar), Mark Minnig (bass), and Pete Hurst (drums), adding vocalist Darren Houlk.
Houlk was replaced with Mike Hall (vocals, guitar ex-Pee Tanks).
The group was a road band, and performed frequently in Baltimore at The Rage.
Rubber Sole morphed into touring/recording group The Thumbs.
Houlk later played drums with Wrong Button, Cross My Heart…
