Hard rock / Blues band from East Baltimore consisting of Larry Chenoweth (lead vocals ex-Status Quo), Rick Hannah (guitar), Joe O’Sullivan (bass ex-Fabulous Montereys), Mark O’Connor (keyboards ex-American Revolution), and Rick Kulacki (drums). The group won a battle of the bands at St. Stanislaus CYO on October 24, 1969 vs. Ostrich, Electric Current, and Poetic License. The prize was a trip to the studio in 1969 where they made a four-track recording of the Grateful Dead song “Cold Rain and Snow,” along with an original arrangement of Gershwin’s “Summertime.” Ivory Lizard also performed at Perry Hall Senior High Folk/Rock Concert March 4, 1972.
