Featuring dual saxophonists Harold Roe with Larry ‘Reds’ Popoli (‘the man with the horn’). They could be seen at Carl’s Musical Bar. Reds continued to lead musical combos well into the 1970s. Roe formed a band called the Skyliners in 1955 who also appeared at Carl’s.
