Rock band. Members featured Mike Cellitto (drums, percussion ex- Strider), Bill Roberts (guitar, piano), Barb Scarinzi (vocals, recorder), Mike Scarinzi (vocal, bass, guitar ex-Wizard, Satin Doll, Dragonfly, Strider), with studio appearances by Benny Cellitto (B-3 organ ex-B.J. & Betrayers, Concords), and Woody Lissauer (percussion). Roberts went on to play for Streetkicks.

The Pynz recorded at Sheffield Studios and released an LP in 1980.
The group went through some personnel changes for the recording “Battle Cry” which was included on the 1982 “98 Rock Vol. II” album. Members included Mike Scarinzi, Mike Cellitto, John Harris (Guitar, vocals ex-Aubrey Circle), Larry Neeson (guitar ex-Light Rain), and John Bolotin (percussion).
Mike continued in the ‘00s to work as a sound engineer and owned the Bridge Studios in Rosedale where he has produced all styles of local talent. Mike has a 2002 CD release scheduled by a country group called Crossroads titled “The Lonely Cowboy” on which he and partner Herb Shawker wrote, performed, and produced.
