One of Baltimore’s premier bands for over 50 years. Formed by vocalist / keyboardist Chuck Ansell (ex-Chelseas, Majestics, Alias Sheep, Coming Generation, Flying Circus). At the time Ansell was working at B&G Music on Route 40 and was looking to form a full-time band. Friends Bill Stahly and Jimmy Neeson (of the Boat) used to hang out at the store. Chuck asked if they’d be interested in starting a band. Neeson joined but Stahley was not yet old enough to join a full-time club band. Bill would later join The Ellicott Brothers, Sage… Bassist Frank Frazier was recommended by the guys over at Bill’s Music House. In the ensuing months Stahley sat in for practice sessions while they searched for a full-time drummer. Finally, Mike Flaherty (ex-Inmates) was added as the permanent drummer.

A 1974 concert at Atholton High School featured the band performing a ‘50s show as the Vaselineaires. They also performed annually at the Preakness Festival throughout the ‘70s.
