Pop and jazz group had formerly worked with Buddy Norman. Members included Paul Cridler (trumpet ex-Admirals, Majestics, Fool Bros…), Brent Hardesty (piano), Dave Gimbel (drums). House band at the Reflection Lounge, also frequent performers at the Iron Horse.
The original group split up in April 1976. Cridler retained the name and continued with pick-up musicians including John Lodsin (bass ex-Chrome, Brass Menagerie), Sidney Layman (keyboards), Bruce Calvert (keyboards ex-Monopoly, Company), Ken Soler (drums), Siri Shaw (vocals)… Odyssey performed throughout the Baltimore and DC area. Their last gig was on New Year’s Eve 1991.
