An early ‘70s line-up included George Collier (bass), Jim Fisher (guitar), Bruce Baggan (keyboards), Luther Jennings (sax ex-Tempos), Wally Jackson (drums) – later replaced with Rick Teufel (drums -also played with the Diplomats)… Other members included Ed Little (sax, vocals), Bob McKeldin (vocals), Paul Lind (guitar)… Originally a soul band, they evolved to cover most rock and Top-40. They recorded original music demos at Wynwood studios. Songs included “I’ve Been Try’in” and “Who Knows What Tomorrow Will Bring.”

The Notations were seen at the WCAO Bridal Fair on April 12, 1970. The group used an old ambulance for transportation to gigs. In early 1972 the band became known as Flywheel.

Collier later played in After Six Combo, Switch, Keith LaMotte Band…
