Norman was lead vocalist for The Luvs, moving on to other bands that included Daybreak, Spike… In 1980, Rudy (lead vocals) along with Streetheart Band members Rusty Steele (guitar), and Buzzy London (drums), with Jimmy Kestle (bass), and D.H. Arthur did some recordings at Sheffield. They released a single, a Norman composition “Harmony” along with the Steele penned song “Back to The Streets” which was included as the first track of the various artists album “WKTK Maryland Music ’81.”
Norman went on to bands Cruise, Wavelength, Left of Center, and others.
In 2020 the song “Back to The Streets” garnered some interest by club DJs in the U.S. and Europe and was reissued as a 12” single on Ubiquity Records featuring additional mixes by The Flying Mojito Brothers. (Note: the single was reissued in 2016).
