Described as vocal-driven melodic funky alternative pop band. Members included Brian Ford (lead vocals, acoustic guitar – voted best vocalist in Music Monthly Readers Poll), Tony DiLorenzo (guitars), Bronson Wagner (bass, vocals ex-Cubic Feet…), Chris (drums). Also guitarists Dino Lisi, Dave Dowling, bassists Freddie Louden, Tom Pitta, and Nick Wallmark, drummers Brett Hayes, Erik True.
Seen at Network, The Barn, Christopher’s, A.L. Gator’s, Eight by Ten, Steeltown, Bottle & Cork (Dewey Beach), Purple Moose and Scandals (Ocean City), a stint as regular Wednesday night band for several years and other nights at Hammerjacks, appeared at the Hammerjacks reunion concerts at The Recher, and was featured in the Hammerjacks video rockumentary. They performed at CBGB’s in New York. The band competed on Star Search in 1994 and scored 4 stars!
The Loft later morphed into Plugged (see bio). Lisi also played for the Big Dog Blues Band, the Outcasts, the Penetrators, Invasion… Louden also a member of Naked Blue, Jeff Order & Company, One by One, Kelly Bell Band… DiLorenzo later with Sugar Jack…
