Rock band. The original line-up included Dave Fultz (guitar), Don Rogers (bass), Tony Montone (keyboards), Robbie Smith (drums), and John Schaefer (lead vocals ex-Standards). Rogers and Montone had previously been members of Bobby J & the Generations.

Drummers included John Jansen, Mike Wann, Jere Stermer (ex-Shane, Spring Fever), Vince Chris, Tommy Davis, John Armetta, and Tim Steele (ex-Tempos, Cain). Fultz was later replaced with Carl Filipiak (ex-Jake), who was in turn replaced with Mike Gardiner, then Frank Sortino. Other guitarists included Bobby J. Davis, and Tony Perchowski. Bass guitarists included Cary Ziegler, and Mike Ciotta. Brass players included Harold Lloyd (sax), and Joe Conway (trumpet). Vocalists include Harry Mapes…
When original lead vocalist Schaefer left, Carey Ziegler took over on bass and lead vocals. The line-up of Montone, Ziegler, Sortino, and Stermer went on the road playing everywhere from the Cave in D.C. to the Velvet Hammer in Hyannis, MA.

Locally Dryed Ice appeared at the Latin Casino with the Fugitives, Golden 40 Inn, Mr. Bojangles… and every summer at the Beach Club in Ocean City. They performed at the UAW Hall Back to School Hop on September 11, 1970 with Tregwater.
Gardiner went on to Felix. Filipiak and Schaefer left in 1971 and joined Cain. Steele later went on to Blue Steel, Royal 5+1, The Stand, Ravyns… Wann later with One Another, Trilogy… Fultz went on to join 2nd Coming. Jansen later played for Lemon Lime, Side Show… – Rogers and Montone both went on to join Bittersweet. Rogers later with Monopoly. Sortino later with Royal 5 + 1…
In 1974 the group was known as Ice – playing clubs including the Frigate, Lighthouse, Mimmie Jr.’s… The group eventually disbanded in 1976.
