With three other veteran lead singers Cindy Hund (ex-Sheratons), Tony Tillman, and Roy Walman (ex-Verdicts) they assembled an 8-piece showband that played rock and soul music around the Baltimore and D.C. area, one of their early full time house band gigs at the Sierra Torch Room Nov/Dec 1969.

In 1970 they became known as the New Censation and appeared at clubs such as the Stardust Inn (‘71), Golden 40 Inn (‘74), the Redwood Inn (‘76), and the Capricorn (78’). The group performed the Baltimore and DC club circuits while also traveling abroad including European tours.
