Top-40 group, formerly known as the Sheratons, featuring vocalists Cindy Walman, Clay Hunt, and Tony Tillman. The band included Ron Cook (guitar ex-Verdicts, Sentries), Jim Kestle (bass), Chick Zuwalick (keyboards), Rick Arnold (trumpet), Bruce Burton (trombone), and Bob Jones (drums). Seen at the Zoo Club’s St. Jude Parade of Stars on April 17, 1968, St. Paul’s CYO in Clarksville… They were a house band at the Rhapsody Club.

In 1968-69 they were known simply as the Censations – later to be known as the New Censations. Hunt recorded a single on Bay Sound (see his bio) and continued to sing with the New Censations. Kestle went on to play for Bob Brady’s Con Chords, Coyote… Jones later played for the Sentries, Heavy Duty… Zuwalick continued performing in the ‘00s with the Esquires. Cindy continued to sing and play keyboards for the New Censations.
