Guitarist formerly of group Hogwash. As a solo project he recorded and released the cult favorite heavy / psych album “Jungle Rot” (Solid 001) in 1975. George played guitar, bass and provided vocals. Also appearing on the LP were Jeff Barrett (drums), and Ron Collier (harp, conga).

Brigman formed a group called Split to perform his original music featuring vocalist Ron Simms. They released single in 1977 “Blowin’ Smoke” b/w “Drifting” (Solid 4817).




An album titled “I Can Hear the Ants Dancing” was recorded at Solid Sound Studios here in Baltimore. It was later issued as an unauthorized recording on Indianapolis label OR Records (OR-004). The album featured George (guitar, vocals), Chuck Westerman (guitar), Ed Sellers (bass), Rick Williams (drums), with Mitchell Myers (bass), and Dave Wilson aka ‘Luke Egypt’ (drums). Myers, Wilson, and Wayne Hastings (vocals) appeared with Brigman on the 1985 EP “Silent Bones” on Bona Fide Records (BF 7003) out of Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Tracks for the EP were recorded at Solid Sound. Brigman also released an album “Human Scrawl Vagabond” in 1987 which featured some new tracks along with remixed versions of earlier album tracks by Brigman with Allan Marcum (bass), and Rick Williams (drums).
In 2007 George released the album “Rags in Skull” (Bona Fide CD05) featuring John Spokus (bass ex-Beltways), with studio work by drummers Tom Rollins, Billy Callaway, Joe Wilkins, and Jay Spiegel (ex-Gumball, Velvet Monkeys, B.A.L.L., Half Japanese…).
