Funk rock band from Westminster formed by Ron Ecker. An early lineup featured Ecker (lead guitar), with Mike Siemis (lead vocals), Tina Johnson (lead vocals), Steve Reith (sax), Scott Sheed (keyboards), Dave Evans (bass ex-Antrim…). By 1999 Ron Jenkins had replaced the original drummer, and Sheed was replaced with Brad Booth. By 2000 new bass guitarist John Urbanski, and female vocal trio of Tina Johnson with Paula DeLuca, and Rosa Gray.

Booth was later replaced with Matt Bowers (drums). Additions included Rapper Kyle ’Crazy Horse’, DJ Knowledge (scratch and samples), and Aqua81 (vocals).

Their song “Fire It Up” placed #1 on Billboard Talent Net internet radio.

Betty In Black performed at the E.J. Bugs, Chambers, Salerno’s, Hyatt Eastside, Towsontown Festival, The Funnel, The Vault, Graceland, Café Tattoo, The Zu, E.A. Poe’s, Nottingham’s, La Palapa, toured east coast and mid-west…
