In 1983 they added guitarist Gary Waugh, who split time with his other working band Cry Monday. Bell, Wilhelm & Waugh worked as a trio on weekends and big jobs. The trio performed a halftime show at game five of the Baltimore Blast soccer championship in 1985.
Wilhelm and Waugh split off in 1987 and continued performing as a duo called Half Crazy.
