Jazz group led by keyboardist Charles Arnette that performed concerts for churches, Baltimore City College, and other public schools, Bay Lady cruises in harbor. The group consisted of Roscoe Evans (sax –once a member of the Spindles), Clayton McLendon (guitar –Bleu Lights, Gumption Band…), Irvin Madden (bass –Lafayette Gilchrist…), Morris Harris (drums), and vocalists included Tracy Curbeam (Dave Ross Trio, Greg Thompkins, Jump Street…), Baretta Mercer (Rollex Band…), Gabriel Goodman…
Arnette had previously worked with vocalists Bill Harris and Jennelle Fisher. He traveled to Europe in early ‘00s as an accompanist for the Jones Tabernacle Choir.
Mercer and Goodman both have individual record releases.
