Rockin’ R&B group led by pianist Joe Allen. Members included Mike Mitchell (tenor sax)… Joe Allen & his Alley Cats recorded at the studios on Biddle Street and released records on Jalo Records under the direction of Jack Gale. Their records were also leased to the Twin Star label in New York.
