Essex area rock band featuring lead guitarist Rusty Daniels, lead vocalist Bob Lee (ex-Wildcats, Malfa), bass guitarist Danny Focht, keyboardist Don Muenzing, and former King Solomon’s Minds / White Lightning drummer Lee Tilton. Focht and Muenzing had previously been together for several years as members of the Vandells / White Lightning and then later with Klap.
Although they were together for only 8 months Aaron’s Rod became a house band at the Half-Way House in Glen Burnie and frequently performed at the Alley Coffee House. The group played at Highlandtown’s People’s Place benefit on September 19, 1970 with Howdy Duty, Exit, and others.
Daniels later became a member of the band Spanky. Lee went on to front Queens Chapel. Muenzing was later with recording group Polestar 1.
