Prog-punk act that included former members of Pang, Thee Katatonix, and The Alcoholics. Mr. Urbanity (guitar, vocals), Gyro J. Scope (bass, lead vocals), Ken Dahl (drums, keyboards).
Dildo Helmet evolved from the Space-prog band Pang. Their mission was to create music that would not have fit in with Pang or Thee Katatonix. Vocals were often processed through cheap guitar effects pedals, and the material spanned the chasm between scholarly discourse and utter toilet humor. Official releases include the much sought after collectors’ items “I’ve Got a Sore” (1997) and the follow up “Shavings from Old Yeller” (1999).
