Band formed by ex-Rolz Royce members Ronnie Coleman (guitar), Tom Smith (drums), and former Wrathchild America soundman Fred Tarr (bass). They wrote and recorded several originals. Although none of their songs were ever released, one tune was played on the air by DJ Kevin Cash (103.1FM) in 1991.
“Digital Warriors music was original heavy metal music intended for an eventual animated movie soundtrack involving a war for survival after nuclear holocaust, in the year 2029, between metal heads and new wave trendies” explained Smith, “The theme and its’ music were conceptualized by Fred Tarr, Ronnie Coleman, and myself in late 1983. In fact, it was what precipitated Coleman and I leaving Rolz Royce. Much of the music and the films ideas remain on tape collecting dust… The idea became way too big for us to handle and Ronnie split to L.A., Fred and I met great women, married and started families. I have continued to play and am currently working with The Fabtastic4 a Beatles tribute band. Dave Woodworth plays guitar (ex Climbadonkey, Lucifer, Kyf Brewer), Dennis Schocket on bass and McCartney vocals (ex Rattle Cats, Myracle Brah, and Starbelly), and Jimmy Brown (not James) on guitar, keys, and Lennon vocals (ex-Invasion).”
