Members Kyf Brewer (vocals ex-Ravyns), John Conte (bass), Steve Conte (guitar), and Frankie LaRocka (drums). New York based band signed to Mercury/Polygram Records and released self-titled debut album in 1990 and placed three singles “Call of The Wild,” “The Distance,” and Hangin’ by a Thread” in the AOR Top-20. The group toured nationally alongside major artists.

The group established a loyal following, although with ‘hair band’ look and straight-ahead southern-tinged rock sound, the group got lost amidst the emerging ‘grunge’ fad. They eventually disbanded with members going on to successful solo projects.

With continued fan interest, Company of Wolves released the independent CD “Shakers & Tambourines” in 1998, a previously unreleased demo album. In 2001 they released an album of new recordings titled “Steryl Spycase.”

Brewer’s solo releases include “Me and My Big Mouth,” “Salvador Deli,”  and “Bright Jewels.” He continued to perform throughout the mid-Atlantic region with his Philadelphia based Ceili group Barleyjuice whose CD releases include “Barleyjuice,” and “Another Round.”
