Ravita played with numerous groups including Smooth Endings, and those of Jim Stewart, Tony Abato, William Goffigan (drums), John Turner, and others. He was also a member of the Baltimore Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Phil Ravita Trio also featured George Spicka (piano), and Scott Tieman (drums).
