Richard explains “the name of the group Early Warning was taken from The Beatles’ “Come Together” song lyrics, and was often mis-booked as Early Morning”.
The trio played private events, various Baltimore nightclubs, and fundraisers.
Shelton played concurrently with Ed & Richard Duo (1992-1995), and Loose Change (1993-1999).
His later groups included Tom, Dick, & Harry (1999-2009), a three guitar/vocal variety rock group featuring Richard Shelton, Phil Revels, and Tom Titus. They played private parties.
Bridget Joyce Duo (2010-2012), variety rock, “we both played guitar and sang. Bridget is a former San Diego Music Awards winner with The Bridget Joyce Band. Played Nightclubs.”
LP & The 45’s (2009-2018) – Motown horn band (13 pieces). Richard Shelton, bandleader and vocals. Many top vocalists and sidemen. Played nightclubs, private events.
