Formed in 1965 by former Nomads Ed Hall (tenor sax), and Danny Fitez (keyboards), with Bob Rios (guitar ex-Del-Vikings), Moe Wedline (bass ex-Flamingos), Mike Marcellino (drums)… The group also included Steve Clay (vocals), Chuck Brumley (trombone), Frank Gazidrowski (replaced Marcellino)…
The Busters performed at the Escapade, Rhapsody, Club Paradise.
As the draft began calling on members, the group finally split in 1966. Marcellino later played for the Upsetters and in the ‘70s with Majic. Clay joined a new version of the Nomads.
