WGRX began as a classic rock station in 1985. The studios were located in Westminster and transmitted dual signals on 100.7-FM and 100.3-FM. In the ‘90s the station converted to country music and became known as Froggy 100. The format was changed back to classic rock in the late ‘90s with call letters WZBA known as ‘The Bay.’ Personalities included Danny Carlisle, Teri Norman, Rich Fisher, A.J. Oles (Scott Fitzgerald), Bill Bevans (singer in ‘60s band The Ven-Tays)… Donna Jean Rumbley (Promotions/Content Director).
