Overlea area band named by combining two of the great rock and roll instrumental band names of the time, the Ventures and the Chantays. Members of the group included Bill Kornke (guitar), Jimmy Distler (guitar), Mike Kornke (bass), and Craig Deans (drums). Lead singer Bill Bevans was later added to front the group.
Bill Kornke went on to join the Laymen. Distler joined the Jaguars. Bevans became a disc jockey heard most recently on Baltimore radio station 100.7 ‘The Bay.’
