Pete Berry aka ‘The Flying Dutchman’ began his radio career at WABY, Albany in 1961. He worked at various stations throughout the ‘60s before arriving at WFBR 1971-77.
In 1973 Baltimore Magazine proclaimed him “the hottest thing in Baltimore radio.” Berry authored the book “And the Hits Just Keep on Comin’” in 1977. About this time, he moved away from Baltimore and worked at several stations before a return to WQSR (‘87-88). In the ‘00s he worked at WKWL-FM, Texarkana, Texas.
