Traditional and contemporary bluegrass group. Members included John O’Dell (guitar), Judd Hawkins (fiddle), Mike Munford (banjo), Bill Beeler (mandolin), David Robertson (mandolin), and John Meredeth (bass). Hawkins, Munford and Meredeth formerly of Grass on the Ridge.
Member Steve Cunningham (banjo) established Baltimore Bluegrass, Inc. store that featured instrument sales, repairs, lessons and open jams.
Windy Ridge was seen regularly at the Cub Hill Inn.
Some members went on to form Fastest Grass Alive. O’Dell continued to perform with the group in the ‘00s. Seen at Friendly Inn (Ellicott City).
