Jazz guitarist. During his career he worked with many top artists including Charlie Byrd, Zoot Simms, Al Cohn, Tim Eyermann, and many others. Wingo and his groups performed throughout the Baltimore and D.C. area including a regular Tuesday night gig at Bertha’s in Fells Point for over 25 years from ‘90s-00s. In 2007 he released his first recordings featuring Jeff Reed or Steve Varner (bass), Chuck Karner (drums), and Al Maniscalco (sax).
