Pop/rock group originally formed to perform an event for the Colts Corral #8 in Essex. The original trio consisted of Joe Primavera (sax ex-Rockin’ Airs), Jerry Kaminski (B3 Hammond organ ex-El Gatos), and Bert Zimmerman (drums ex-Rockin’ Airs). Kaminski filled the bass lines on keyboards. The group was so well received that they began booking for other Colts Corral affairs and night clubs. Depending on the gig the group would call on an additional rhythm guitarist or horn player as needed. Later they added a permanent guitarist Art Ipri and began billing themselves as Wee Three & Company.

Wee Three sometimes filled in for overbooked gigs for the Romano Brothers. One of the Brothers, usually Pat Cammarata (bass, vocals) would accompany the group to perform as the Romanos.

Zimmerman was eventually replaced with Angelo Contrino (drums ex-Tray & the Diamonds, Kotton), who was in turn replaced with Howard Sweeney (ex-Memory Lane).

Wee Three & Company eventually morphed into the Charm City Band. They continued performing together into the mid-‘80s.

The group performed at the Gaslight, Red Rooster, Zodiac, Pike Villa, V.I.P. Lounge, Single Source, Mimmie Lorenzo’s, Howard Johnson’s, Wishing Well, Green Dolphin, Alexanders (on York Road), Club Venus, Hollywood Palace, Patapsco Inn, and various carnivals and fairs…

Zimmerman went on to a number of groups but is most well-known as Gene Vincentt of the Cadillac Cruisers…
