Seen at Hoffman’s Red Devil Lounge on Turkey Point Road, as well as occasional weddings and bull roasts… A mid-‘70s lineup featured Mario Pennacchia (lead vocals), Herb Oliver (guitar), Ernie Smelzer (guitar) replaced with Joe Pascuzzi (guitar, vocals, flute ex-Blush), Claude Morris (bass, vocals), and Carmen Sorrentino (drums, vocals).

Pascuzzi later with Autum, Syndrome… Sorrentino also with Celebrate, Epilog…

Oliver and Pascuzzi, both most recently of Crossfire, resurrected the name Eighth Day in 1993, re-forming the group with Karen Leaf (lead vocals ex-Crossfire), John Mancinelli (lead vocals and keys), Mark Smith (guitar), and Ron Appel (drums ex-Crossfire).

Version two of the Eighth Day performed at the Dundalk Moose, various bull roasts, weddings, etc…
