The group appeared on a Cesar Romaro telethon fundraiser for cerebral palsy. Other original songs included “Longing for You” and “Gee Baby I Need You.” In 1955 the Twilighters shared billing with the Swallows nightly as house bands at the Club Ambassador on Fayette Street. The shows were hosted by WANN radio announcer Hoppy Adams.

By 1957 Scotty added a six-piece band called The Cavalcaders.

Greene went on to serve in the military after which he formed the Kool Gents in 1960. As DeRoy Greene & the Kool Gents they released “Come to Me” b/w “Picture on the Wall” (Bethlehem 3061). Motley continued to release records with various combinations of “His Crew” on the DC and Cookin’ labels. He also released recordings with the D.C. based TNT Tribble on RCA, Gotham, Chart, East-West, and with the Ontarios with Frank Motley & His Crew on Big Town.
